This project was jointly developed by HAITIAN GROUP, Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Sichuan University. The technical equipment has been highly evaluated by a panel of nine industry experts, including Academician Qu Jiuhui of Tsinghua University and Academician Ren Hongqiang of Nanjing University. The experts unanimously affirmed that "the achievement demonstrates significant innovation, with the BOD-Q detection technology reaching an internationally leading level." The technology shortens the biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) detection time from the conventional five days to within 30 minutes, enabling high-precision, rapid detection of multiple BOD samples. It effectively replaces imported technologies and was awarded the First Prize of the China Environmental Protection Industry Environmental Technology Progress Award.
