Sichuan Haitian Preferred Water Supply Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HAITIAN GROUP, strategically established in alignment with the national high-quality development and "Healthy China" initiatives. Guided by the corporate mission of "reducing microplastic pollution and enhancing drinking water quality", and supported by the Group's robust financial capacity, R&D capabilities, and integrated industrial chain advantages, the company has built a smart water supply system. This system ensures full-process control "from source to tap", real-time water quality monitoring, and precise freshness preservation at the point of use. It rigorously implements an internal control system that far exceeds industry standards to guarantee the safety, health, and freshness of every drop of water.

Sichuan

Piped direct drinking water is high-quality drinking water that, after advanced purification treatment, is delivered directly to households through an independent pipeline system and can be consumed directly.

Thirteen-Stage Treatment Process

Stage 1 Raw water tank

The raw water tank facilitates primary sedimentation and acts as a buffer for raw water storage. It helps stabilize the incoming water pressure and serves as an emergency backup water source, ensuring a stable supply for the pipe system for fine drinking water.

Stage 2 Multi-media filtration system

The system uses quartz sand multi-media filters primarily to remove harmful substances in the raw water, such as silt, rust, colloids, and suspended solids, all of which could pose risks to human health.

Stage 3 Activated carbon filtration system

The system uses fruit shell-based activated carbon filters to remove color, odors, biochemical organics, excess oxygen, pesticide pollutants, and other harmful substances from the water.

Stage 4 Ion exchange softening system

This system applies ion exchange technology using softening resin as the medium to soften water, mainly by lowering its hardness and removing calcium and magnesium ions (the primary components of scale).

Stage 5 Precision filtration system

Further purification of the water is achieved through this system, which removes harmful substances and optimizes turbidity and color for higher-quality water.

Stage 6 Raw water supply disinfection system

A flow-through ultraviolet sterilizer is employed for dual disinfection to significantly reduce secondary bacterial contamination. The sterilization rate exceeds 99%, effectively preventing bacterial growth in the membrane unit.

Stage 7-8 UF+NF/RO membrane treatment system

This system effectively removes harmful contaminants such as bacteria, heavy metals, pesticide residues, and fine impurities invisible to the naked eye. By using different membrane combinations, it also ensures the retention of essential trace elements and minerals, which contribute to better taste and safer, healthier water.

Stage 9 Mineralization system

Medical stone, a natural silicate mineral, has strong adsorption properties for heavy metal ions, bacteria, nitrites, phenols, and other harmful substances. Medical stone releases essential minerals into the water, helps adjust the pH level, and provides antibacterial effects, thus ensuring safety and quality of the water.

Stage 10-11 Treated water disinfection system

This system integrates precision filtration with submerged ultraviolet sterilizers to achieve double disinfection and reduce secondary bacterial contamination. With a sterilization efficiency of over 99%, the water is thoroughly filtered, achieving a 100% pass rate to ensure both safety and health.

Stage 12-13 Ozone sterilization system & return water filtration system

The ozone sterilization system is set to operate on a timed schedule to prevent bacterial growth in both the finished water tank and the pipeline network. At the same time, ozone dissolves in the water and forms oxygen-rich water that ensures the purity and freshness of the water. Precision filtration is used to filter the water returning from the pipeline to the tank, preventing secondary contamination and ensuring no impurities flow back into the tank.

Policy Trends of Piped Direct Drinking Water

Municipal piped direct drinking water projects have been fully implemented in cities including Shanghai, Shenzhen, Changsha, Suzhou, Baotou, and Yinchuan.


The Regulations on Water Supply Management of Chengdu City were promulgated on April 29, 2025, by the 16th Session of the Standing Committee of the 18th Chengdu Municipal People's Congress.


In 2021, Chinese Academy of Inspection and Quarantine Comprehensive Testing Center introduced Standards for Healthy Drinking Water Quality.


In 2021, Beijing Packaging Drinking Water industry Association issued Standards for Healthy Drinking Water Quality.


In 2017, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China launched industry standard of Technical Specification of Pipe System for Fine Drinking Water in Building and Sub-district.


In 2005, the industry standard Water Quality Standards for Fine Drinking Water was released.
